i want to rent/hire a fetal doppler but all the ones i have seen are about £16 per month abit to pricy for me anybody know any sites where i can rent one from?

I rented a doppler from www.heartones.com a few weeks ago and it has really eased my mind to hear my baby’s heart beating away. But it’s really weird … I can hear a swooshing sound kind of at a steady beat, and then I can hear the baby’s heart beat which is a much faster beat. What is that swooshing beat? Sometimes it is steady and then it may slow down for a second or two and speed back up.

I am 15 weeks and 3 days.

Can someone plz recommened any other brand.

i am 10 weeks pregnant i was wondeing if anybody knows if the heart beat head phone sets are any good they are around £30 or should i just hire a better one?

does anyone know a good place to seel my doppler? i cant use ebay (long story), its in very good condtion and i loved using it so i really want to sell it on to someone else who can get joy out of it but dont know where i can sell it. any advise??
to abbisday, its a MAS babywatcher doppler.Its like the ones the MW’s use. they are about £85 new. it hasnt got a box or instructions but to be honest, its so easy to use you dont need them but they are on the website anyway. i also have 1/2 a bottle of gel x

Ok, I want to rent a fetal doppler off of babybeat.com. I want some advice from pregnant women that rented a fetal doppler from babybeat. I’m 17 weeks pregnant so I’m pretty sure I can hear it good with the doppler. I was just wondering, which one is best to rent? I don’t want one with recording. I just want a regular one. But is it that if you get the more expensive one, it works better? Or do they pretty much work the same?
Also, I just want to rent it for one month. So, how far in advance before my month is up should I send it back? And does it cost anything to ship it back?

I am looking at two different fetal dopplers. One is the Hi Bebe fetal doppler and the other is the Sonotrax B fetal doppler. I was curious as to if anyone out there has heard anything about either one of these or have used one of them yourself. Thanks!
Another thing is which probe is better? The 2mhz or the 3mzh. I’ve heard the 2mhz is better for overweight woman, and I’m by no means little, but not extremely overweight either.

We purchased an angelsounds fetal doppler and would like to buy some gel to use with it. I would like to use the best conductor, will any ultrasound gel work?

just bought a fetal doppler - a little paranoid i guess! baby has a steady heartbeat, 140 - 150 beats per min, sometimes though it slows down a little then speeds back up. is this normal? also, does anyone know how many times a day/length of time that is safe to use the doppler? cheers!

i have an angelsounds fetal doppler. recently have hear a crackly noise sometimes when i move it about then it will settle. i am 19 weeks.
do u hear this on yours?

I am thinking of purchasing a ‘baby sound’ fetal doppler, i was just wondering if anyone has had one and how good they are? Also the one im getting doesnt have the recording cable with it as im buying it second hand. Will it work ok without this?

Ok I just got my at home fetal doppler and im thinking I am hearing two heartbeats!! But ive had an ultrasound twice and we only saw one baby! they are on seperate sides of my lower abdomen, they are about 3 inches apart, am I hearing something else??? is it maybe my ovaries, because thats about where each sound is coming from..im confused?? lol

my baby is right at my hair line, i am 13 weeks, the heart rate is 174, but my baby has been in the same place for almost a day, before then my baby was more to the top then more to the left, (moved some) is this normal??
my heart beat was slow, i could tell it was the baby’s because it was super fast compared to mine.

I have read it is safe, but I want to hear more opinions…
So far I have had it for a couple weeks and have used it once a day. Twice a day on two occasions. Not for very long, maybe about a minute or two each time.

It has a red light, does it mean I need to replace a new battery? I got the rental fetal doppler from www.bellybeats.com.
It always has been green light, but now it’s red light since yesterday.

I worry about my baby constantly. I’m 5 months now and feel reassured that I can feel it moving at times but I would feel much better if I could monitor the baby with a doppler. Can anyone help???
