I bought this after reading some good reviews online but all it’s done so far is make me worry. Says can be used from 10 weeks online but states 12 weeks on box… so i waited til 12 weeks and have tried for hours to find the baby’s heartbeat and no luck… can hear mine ok so it can’t be faulty surely? Any ideas?

I’m not anxious about anything. I think it would be a nice bonding experience to hear the baby’s heart beat every once in a while. It’s rude to just assume anything about me.

I don’t want the one that sells in general stores for 25-35 they don’t work. I don’t know of any medical supply places that sell them. I could really use some help.
Thank you

Please share your info on this. How early can it work? Where would you recommend renting from? Is it worth it?

Can anyone tell me where I can find a Prenatal Heart Monitor in Toronto and surrounding areas? My wife and I are expecting our first child and would like to purchase one of these monitors.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

When I first heard the baby’s hb, it was very central, just below my belly button. That was @ 9 weeks. Since then I’ve found it to the left, and now it seems to get picked up on the right. Is that normal for it to move so much?

There seems to be lots of different places, I was wondering if anyone has any positive or negative feedback regarding these companies, or can recommend cheapest/best value etc.
Thanks for any input:)

I’m having mild, period-like cramping and it’s making me nervous. I just want to hear the heartbeat. 13 weeks pregnant.

Does the baby hate the fetal dopper? Does it affect him/her?
It might just be my imagination but it almost seems like it kicks and moves more when I listen to it.
I am not pressing down so it’s not like I am applying pressure and making the baby react to that.
I think I might just be imagining it or it is just a coincidence because everything I’ve read says dopplers are fine to use… Any ideas?

Is is possible to hear the heartbeat before week 10?

Like would it work?
My stomach is disproportionately fat in comparison with the rest of my body as I put a lot of stomach weight on in me last pregnancy without realising until the baby came out and it all of a sudden wasnt hard anymore : ( Its a lot of belly fat. But the lower abdomen not much fat at all. Its weird.

I couldn’t hear the heart beat, but there was a lot of swishing going on more then i have ever heard, and it didn’t sound like when my stomach grumbles. There was even a loud pitch squeaking notice, sounded like when you rub Styrofoam together. I know that wasn’t my baby, but maybe it was something moving around.

I ordered a fetal doppler and have been waiting a week for it and finally it came today YAY! Its the same one as my dr. uses so i know it is possible to find the heartbeat somewhere i heard it at 8 weeks. I am 12.5 weeks now anyone know where i should be placing it I’ve been playing with it for well of an hour and can only find my own heartbeat which is good haha but not exciting.

i have an angelsounds fetal doppler. i can hear the heartbeat and my baby moving. if i position it differently the heatbeat sounds different or stronger. other positions like more towards my ovary area, not exactly where the baby would be lying it sounds like lots of water swirling around.
what do you hear?
im nearly 18 weeks

My doctor searched for my baby’s heartbeat with a fetal doppler. I am 11wks. 5 days pregnant. She only spent about 2 minutes looking for the hearbeat and could not find one. She said that this it is normal not to be able to hear a heartbeat this early on. I am still worried though. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

is it safe to use every day?
more than twice a day?
this is NOT an ultrasound, just a doppler (picks up heart tones).
i’m not doing it for medical reasons but i had a stillborn before this one and i need a lot of reassurance. i’m 14 weeks. if i could feel the baby move, THAT would be my reassurance but since it’s too early to feel it move yet, i like to hear the heart beat
thanks
my stillborn was at 21 weeks btw

I am 16 weeks pregnant and rented a doppler. I’ve been listening for a while but a couple of days ago and this morning my husband & I both heard a few high pitched noises that sounded like hiccups or a cry, although I know there’s probably no way since the lungs are filled with fluid. Just thought I’d ask though! I don’t know what it could’ve been.
