I’ve just been listening to my baby’s heartbeat. I just want to know if its possible to pick my baby’s heartbeat up in 2 different places? One low down on right side of abdomin and just off to the left of my belly button? Thanks in advance. x
Its definately not my heartbeat. Mine is much slower.

I had something similar. It will be coming from the baby’s cord. I really wouldn’t worry and you can double check that with your midwife. I just about had a nervous breakdown but it was when the midwife was doing it and she explained it to me lol
Don’t worry your not having Twins
xx
Are you sure one isn’t your own heartbeat? My doctor always picks my pulse up right around my belly button, so the one you’re hearing there could be yours…
You are most likely picking up your own heart beat as one of them. My doctor said that happens sometimes. You have a couple of pretty major artieries pumping through the area.
Yes. One is the heart beat and the other is likely from the blood flowing in the cord. I was terrified the first time I had that happen, I thought somehow they had missed twins.
I BET ONE OF THE HEARTBEATS WAS YOURS! OR TWINS BUT IM SURE YOUR DOCTOR WOULD HAVE TOLD YOU IF BY NOW IF YOUR WERE HAVING TWINS.
The baby’s heartbeat will be very fast at that stage. Your would be much slower. It wouldn’t be up to your belly button yet.
Babies turn over all the time, and the doppler can pick up their heartbeat from all angles. I was worried about that when my doctor was listening. She told me the baby turns over a lot and it redirects the strength of the heartbeat.
youve picked up the noise from the placenta, that makes a noise very similar to a heart best, and plus you can pick the heart beat up from different abgles, my midwife has on ma ny occcations.
its either your own heartbeat or an echo of the babies.
i was told by my midwife it was the placenta so you can get the baby heartbeat and placenta depending where the baby is at the time
good luck
