15 weeks pregnant fetal heart rate 136?
I had an ultrasound 3 days ago at 14w 5d and this little guy or girl was kicking and punching and dancing around like crazy. That day I was told its heart rate was 150 (measured by the ultrasound machine). After a little freak out I had yesterday I went into the ER to make sure everything was okay. They used a doppler to check the babys heart rate and I was told it was 136 (not counted by the doppler but insead by counting and looking at a watch). I asked if it was normal for it to drop so much in just a couple days and was told not to worry, it was still in the normal range and the baby could just be sleeping. I’m tring to tell myself that sounds possible cause if the baby was very active during my ultrasound its heart rate was bound to be higher than if he or she was sleeping during this visit. I’m just wondering if anyone else has experienced anything like this and if this sounds possible to everyone else?

The normal range is 120-160. Since the baby was moving around it is normal for the heart rate to be faster. Just like when we exercise our heart rate goes up, a baby’s heart rate goes up when they move around too. Relax and congratulations!
It sounds perfectly normal to me. A heart rate of 136 is nothing to worry about.
IT MIGHT OF BEEN LOWER BECAUSE THE BABY WAS ASLEEP.
its normal. My daughter’s jumped around from 155 to 130 its perfectly normal
Do not thing nothing of it ,cause its normal, and the baby will get to be born in perfect waym with out any worries, rest your mind every thing is all right with you and the baby
i agree with both…perfectly normal, and the rate always drops when baby is sleeping…try not to be worrying (easier said than done)
best of luck
Your baby is fine. Just relax. The baby can feel your stress, so get a massage, read a book, take some deep breaths and relax.
Its totally fine. Normal.
STOP STRESSING!!! LOL LOL LOL babies heart rates are stronger then ours… they will beat above a hundred everytime… Mine was up to almost 150 at one point, but just for a bit, for the most part they stay in the 120-130’s.. This is very very normal… So relax…
