12 weeks pregnant, is this normal?
the last few days my symptoms have vanished, no more sickness, boobs arnt sore anymore. and im not anywhere near as tired, i do have a fetal doppler and have been listening to the baby’s heartbeat, so i know every things ok, but this morning while i was cooking the breakfast (sausage and egg) i almost fainted, i had to open my back door and sit on the door step for 10 minuets, and for a good hour afterwards, if i so much as moved i felt as though id faint, im feeling better now after a bath, but is that normal?

Hey, it all sounds pretty normal to me, your blood pressure goes up and down through pregnancy, which can make you feel faint and light headed. If it persists or gets worse, then contact your midwife or doctors. Weeks 12 - 13 is going into the second trimester, and for some women, all the bad things about being pregnant, such as sickness, tiredness and sore boobs disappear, and some women really bloom and sail through from 13 weeks to 26 weeks. Everyone is different. I cant say I ever ‘bloomed’ but after 13 weeks, I no longer suffered from sore boobs and morning sickness, but still felt tired.
Good Luck and all the best, xx
Hi ! its ok and don’t worry ! I have a lot of information about it
i think that this is normal but if it’s too much u must see a doctor straight away be careful off falling on ur stomach but i’m not a woman’s Specialist but i think it’s normal.
As a mother to 4 kids, I can tell u this is completely normal I suffered low blood pressure very bad on my last pregnancy and even fainted and gave myself a black eye, low blood pressure is perfectly normal and at the hospital they gave me a few ways to control it.
1. Eat more salt (it really helps)
2. when feeling faint lie down flat an raise your feet higher than your body eg. rest your legs up against the wall.
3. too much drinkin water can make you feel worse.
I hope this helps and best of luck with the pregnancy,
You’re almost in the second trimester and this is totally normal. Morning sickness and sore boobs will ease off now but as you’ve already discovered you may get a few dizzy/faintness spells.
This is because your body is working hard to make extra blood and increase the volume of your veins. Sometimes this can make your blood pressure drop a bit and cause the dizziness and feeling faint…especially if you’re on your feet for a while or get up quickly.
If you feel faint, it’s best to lie down if you can or if that’s not possible sit down and put your head between your knees.
hi there i reamber posting this question when i was 12 weeks preg its completley normal for pregnancy symptoms to vanish or to fade i was soo scared that there was something wrong with my little one but i am now 33 weeks and all ok enjoy the break while it lasts try not to wory some days you may have all the normal pregnancy symptoms and other days you may not even feel preg!! always ask your midwife or doctor for reassurance and advice it good that you have a doopler as this can put your mind at ease
