With my first pregnancy, I had no symptoms at all for the first trimester (and I was spotting enough to think I was having periods). I also didn't show until I was 7 months along (at the time, I was 118 lbs at 5'2").

I wouldn't worry too much. Your uterus doesn't even grow higher than your pubic bone until 14 weeks. Your belly doesn't really grow so much in the first trimester because of that.

1.) I am so sorry that you have had miscarriages =(
2.) GET A NEW DOC ASAP!!!!!!

3.) I am pretty knowledgeable about pregnancies but I dont feel confident enough to give you a for sure answer on this one. The sucky part is that before 12 weeks there is pretty much nothing you can do to prevent a miscarriage. The good news is that if you make it to 12 weeks your chances of miscarriage drop by 90%.

If I were you I would get an appt with a GOOD doctor tomorrow and go see for sure what is going on.
The aching on one side worries me, the brown spotting does not, the could just be implantation bleeding.

Hang in there and dont freak out!

I too had "disappearing" symptoms early in my pregnancy. But diarrhea and intense back aches that early into pregnancy are often examined and monitored closely by your doctor because it can be a sign of miscarriage. But if he heard the heartbeat, why didn't you? The very 1st time I went in to hear the heartbeat, I heard it too. The fact that your belly hasn't grown doesn't necessarily mean there's a problem. I have one child as well. Before I got pregnant I was only about 90-95 lbs and I'm 5'0". I didn't start noticeably start showing until I was almost 5 months...I actually LOST weight until around 15 weeks or so. I had an amazing doctor and he said that was normal and that some women lose rather than gain in the beginning. After that I started to gain and was showing at 5 months like I said. By the end of my pregnancy I went from being about 90 lbs to 135...you do the math! lol. So on that part I wouldn't worry too much, even though you're small doesn't mean it will be more noticeable. I also have a friend that has had 5 kids and is smaller than me, she didn't show at all with ANY of her kids. Good luck and you may want to consider finding a new doctor.
